He has served as a Pelham Town Councilman for the last 16 years, serving as Deputy Town Supervisor for the last 8 years, and serving as Town Supervisor for the last four years.

Before his time on the Town Council, he served over 10 years on the Recreation Commission as a member, vice chair and chairman. During his time on the Commission the recreation programs for teens were expanded and other programs upgraded.

Dan has a long history of volunteerism in the community. For 16 years he was a coach in Little League for both his son and daughter. He was instrumental in growing the town’s Girls Summer Softball program that he had been involved in for fifteen years. He was very active in the Pelham Youth Hockey program where he served as team manager for 8 years as well as the High School’s team manager for four years.

Dan is a past President and Chairman of the Pelham Civics Association and has been an active member for the last 32 years. Dan worked at Chase Manhattan Bank as a Vice Present of Lending and later became Vice President and CFO of one of his client-customers. Over the next two decades, Dan started two businesses that were later sold to public companies, before going on to become a consultant in the Import Distribution industry. Dan’s financial and organizational skills, combined with a history of involvement in the community, and firsthand experience on the council for 16 years makes him a well-qualified candidate for Town Supervisor. His goal is to ensure that the Town continues to provide the great programs for which it is responsible – athletic fields, the library, the parks, the recreation programs, tax assessment and collections within a budget that is sensitive to the needs of all taxpayers.
